Just a short blog on a topic that we have heard a lot of requests for and that we’ve been working on, in conjunction with the Lync Product Group, over the last months.
We’re pleased to be able to announce that Web Application Proxy in Server 2012 R2 has successfully passed the Microsoft UCOIP (Unified Communication Open Interoperability Program) Reverse Proxy Qualification for Lync Server 2013.
The listings of Infrastructure qualified for Microsoft Lync can be found at the following link with Web Application Proxy listed in the Reverse Proxy section - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/office/dn788945
The detailed Web Application Proxy configuration guide for Lync Server 2013 can be accessed here - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=44940
This is great news and will hopefully be of assistance with your deployments. As always, please let us know if you have any questions or feedback.
