Hey folks,
Absolutely thrilled today to talk about the partnership that we just announced this morning between Ping Identity and Microsoft. You can read all about it in our EMS blog here.
As Alex mentions in his blog post, the big motivation here is to enable customers to bring even more numbers of on-premises applications into the Azure AD control plane. A lot of you have told me that you have applications that use HTTP header based authentication. And that you would like to integrate these apps with Azure AD app proxy. And I also know that a lot of you have traditional WAM products like SiteMinder that you’re considering moving away from. With the partnership that we announced today, you can now offer your users a simple, secure remote access solution, to all these applications. This partnership just amplifies the value of the Azure AD app proxy.
This continues to solidify our goal to make any on-prem application accessible through Azure AD app proxy. And really helps bolster the productivity of your workforce by enabling them to access any on-prem app, from any place, on any device. And your IT teams can still maintain the necessary security controls through the power of the control plane in Azure AD.
We truly believe that with this partnership we’ve covered a broad swath of on-premises applications that most customers have. If you haven’t taken the next steps to explore and adopt app proxy, now is the time!
As always, if you have any questions or feedback, contact us as aadapfeedback@microsoft.com
